Clarence E. “CJ” Minors Jr., 48, of Franklin, died November 13, 2011 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. He leaves behind his loving wife Michelle F. (LaFargue) Minors of 24 years and his precious daughter Brittany Michelle Minors.
Born in Bermuda on October 21, 1963, he was the son of Clarence Eugene Minors Sr. of Bermuda and the late Jeanette (Vickers) Minors.
Mr. Minors was a resident of Franklin for 18 years. He worked for the MA Department of Corrections for many years and previously worked as an Auxiliary Police Officer in Franklin.
Mr. Minors loved fishing and was a member of the Tri-County BassMasters. He studied Kung Fu and volunteered with the Handi-Kids Association.
In addition to his wife, daughter and father, he is survived by his brother Shawn Minors and his step-mother Sharon Minors, both of Florida and two sisters, Charlotte Minors and Roloni Wesley, both of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother–in-law Leo and Joan LaFargue of Pembroke and his sister-in-law Laura LaFargue of Quincy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, November 18 from 5 – 8 P.M. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St.
Inurnment will take place privately at Pine Grove Cemetery in Milford.
