Mr. Sherman R. Gray, 79, of Methuen, Massachusetts, formerly of Salem, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12th, 2011 in Andover, MA.
He was born on June 21st, 1932 in Holland, Vermont, son of the late Lyman and Madeline (Musgrove) Gray.
Sherman was educated in the Derby, Vermont elementary and high schools, he later attended Vermont Junior College and the Berdette School of Business in Boston, MA. He served in the United States Army - 11th Airborne during the Korean War.
He attended United Methodist Church in Methuen, MA. Sherman worked for the Arlington Placement Company for many years. According to his family he was an avid Red Sox fan, loved dogs and cars, and he especially loved Moxie.
