Sylvia M. Baron 89, of St. Joseph St. Woonsocket, died Wednesday at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of t
he late Wilfred Baron. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Moise and Corana (Tetreault) Gauthier. In her youth Sylvia was a textile worker for the Guerin Mills.
She is survived by a brother Normand T. Gauthier of N. Providence, and two sisters, Murielle S. Gauthier of Woonsocket, and Viola C. Lebeau of Central Falls. She was also the sister of the late Lucien M. Gauthier.
A Memorial Mass will be held in the Spring at a time and date to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home.
