GROTON, NH – Veronica A. “Ronnie” (Fawcett) Pilvelis 77 of Groton, NH and formerly of Methuen, MA died Friday November 11, 2011 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Born and educated in Methuen, MA, she was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Lucy (Jennings) Fawcett. She was a graduate of the Edward F. Searles High School Class of 1952. For many years Ronnie was a nurse at Bon Secours, now Holy Family Hospital in Methuen and also at the Glen Cliff Home and also the Speare Memorial Hospital. She attended both St. Monica’s and St. Lucy’s church while residing in Methuen. She loved animals especially her own pets, her nursing profession, enjoyed her garden, cooking and time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, Laurence C. “Larry” Pilvelis of Groton, NH. She is survived by her children Paula A. Allard and her husband Rick of Merrimack, NH, Larry C. Pilvelis, Jr. and his wife Debra of Derry, NH, Lisa A. Lemieux and her husband Bill of Salem, NH, Jennifer A. Pilvelis of Plymouth, NH and Amy Rankins and her husband Don of Andover, NH.
One sister Barbara Gray of Concord, NH and one brother Thomas Fawcett and his wife Mary Jean of Methuen, MA.
Grandchildren Laurence R. Cairns, John M. and Richard A. Pilvelis, Jonathan E. Lemieux, Ricky J. and Tommy G. Allard and DJ Rankins.
Great-granchildren Abigail, Kailey and Juliana.
Nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Theresa Gross and brother John Fawcett.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society 1305 Meredith Center Road, P.O. Box 572 Laconia, NH 03246. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5:30p.m. – 7:30p.m. A Memorial service will follow at 7:30p.m. in the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date at the families’ convenience.
