METHUEN, Ma. — Stephen J. Doyle, 48, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at the Holy Family Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Stephen was born in Lynn, Sept. 23, 1963, the son of the late Joseph S. and Eileen (McGrath) Doyle. Stephen was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High class of 1981 and Lowell State College graduating with a degree in electrical engineering. For 28 years Stephen had been employed as a Product Manager with Philips Medical of Andover. Stephen was very creative with wood. He made a beautiful treasure chest which will be handed down to his grandchildren whom he adored. According to his family he was a very good cook, and had a wonderful relationship with his family.
Survivors include his wife Judith A. Munroe. Three children; Sarah A. Doyle and her fiancé Juan Marte, Kristen M. Doyle and Jason S. Doyle all of Methuen, stepchildren Robert V. and wife Lauren Holden of Londonderry, N.H., Kristi Holden of Saugus; one brother Joseph and wife Shelley Doyle of Peabody; one sister Debbie and husband Peter Retos of No. Attleboro, three grandchildren; Joey W. Holden, Caleb M. Holden and Braiden A. Marte as well as several nieces and nephews. Stephen was predeceased by his sister Janice Stone.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, 9 a.m. in Saint Monica's Church, Methuen with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence. Friends will be warmly received on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen.
