Florence Philibert, 82, died November 11, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer at her home in the Laurel Center, Bedford surrounded by her loving family.
Born June 28, 1929, in Amherst, NH, she was the daughter of Alfred and Edith Dion.
Florence was loved by all and her smile could light up a room. She will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Ernest Philibert in 2005. She was also predeceased by four sons, Ernest Jr., Alfred, James, and George.
Family members include 2 sons and 6 daughters, Richard Philibert and wife Betty of Manchester, Jeannette Philibert of Canada, Doris Gottier of Manchester, Irene Docos and husband Denny of Manchester, Robert Philibert and wife Alane of Goffstown, Linda Turner of Maine, Beverly Belanger and husband Joseph of Allenstown, Julie Jernigan and husband Parrish of Manchester; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold Dion of Nashua; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Laurel Center for the wonderful care they provided Florence during her stay there.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, November 14, 2011 in Sacred Heart Church, 223 So. Main St. After cremation, urn burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
