Dorothy P. (Ambra) Pypec, 87, of New Bedford, died November 11, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Karol J. Pypec.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Charles P. and Helen (Frazier) Ambra, she lived in Virginia before returning to New Bedford in 1987.
She enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include a niece, Deborah Long of East Freetown; and a nephew, George Muras of New Bedford.
She was the sister of the late Evelyn Couto.
Her private arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
