Eva G. (Balsavich) Meixner, 94, formerly of 56 Claridge Road, Worcester passed away November 10th, 2011 at Christopher House of Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband William A. Meixner, who died in 1994. Eva was also predeceased by her brother John J. Baldwin and her niece Lois A. Childs. She leaves her niece Julianne Creamer of Shrewsbury and nephews John Baldwin of Yantic, CT and William Baldwin of Worcester. She also leaves several great nieces and nephews.
Eva was born in Worcester the daughter of John and Eva Balsavich; and was a lifelong resident of Worcester. She was a former member of Our Lady of Vilna Church and a member of St. George’s Church.
Eva retired from the City of Worcester’s Assessors Office after many years of service. She had also worked for the David Clark Company. Eva enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens; and her trips with her mother to the St. Anthony Shrine at the Lithuanian Franciscan Monastery in Kennebunk, ME.
