Megan N. Caron, 25, of Whipple Road, died Thursday, November 10, 2011. She was the daughter of Anthony and Robin (Goulet) Caron and sister of Kayla and Bryanna Caron, all of Smithfield. She is also survived by her boyfriend Ryan Franco of North Providence.
Born in Providence, she was a lifelong resident of Smithfield. She was the granddaughter of the late Mildred and Edward Goulet and Tasia Caron of Smithfield. She is also survived by her uncles Stephen Goulet of East Putnam, CT, Rodney Caron of North Smithfield, her uncle and aunt Peter and Susan Zervas of Pawtucket and her pets: Tia, Mia and Romeo. She is also survived by many extended family members.
Megan was a student at RIC. She had played softball for Smithfield High School and later became an assistant softball coach. She also worked at Sharx Bar and Grill in Cranston, and Escada Restaurant and Bar in Johnston. She was an avid sports fan and was a devoted Patriots Fan.
Her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11am in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Putnam Avenue, Greenville. Burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Monday 4-7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Thomas Episcopal Church or Smithfield High School Girls Softball.
