Mrs. Lillian T. Miselis, age 96, a resident of Wilmington for well over fifty years, passed away peacefully, November 8th, at the Wingate of Haverhill Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Victor W. Miselis and together they shared more than sixty-one years of marriage. Born in Chelsea, MA she was the daughter of the late John and Ludwiga (Kondrad) Zablotski.
Mrs. Miselis was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. When her children were young she was very active and involved with the Wildwood School Parent Teachers Association. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and she especially cherished her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Victor, she is survived by her children, Dr. Kenneth Miselis and his wife Judith of California, Randall “Jay” Miselis and his wife Deborah of Haverhill, Joseph Gurski and his wife Katherine of Mexico, Barbara Carey of Lowell, Lorraine McCormack and her husband Neil of Maine. She was the loving grandmother of sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Helena Bernat of Washington, and preceded in death by her sister, the late Frances Mahnken.
Family and friends will gather at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON, Monday, November 14th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held on Sunday from 3 thru 6 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
