Obituary
Mr. Selig died Sunday evening at the Goddard Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton after a period of failing health. Born in Brockton, son of the late Wilbur and Mary (Partridge) Selig. Graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1941. Mr. Selig received his degree from Northeastern University in Engineering and Business. He retired as an electronic engineer from Raytheon after 37 years. He worked at Hanscom Air Force Base in Radar and Missile Division. Mr. Selig enjoyed stamp and coin collecting and traveling around the US and Europe. He summered for many years in Dennisport. He was a Ham Radio Operator W1OEG and former member of Brockton Radio Club. He was a member of the South Shore Irish American Club.
Survived by his wife of 54 years, Helen M. (McDonald) Selig, a daughter Katherine A. Selig and a son James E. Selig both of Brockton, a granddaughter Sage A. Selig of E. Bridgewater, two nieces and one nephew.
