Ursula E Duganiero (Danahy), of Canton, passed away after a brief illness at the Norwood Hospital on November 8th. She was 78. Born and raised in Canton. She attended St. John’s School and graduated from Canton High School. Ursula worked at New England Telephone Company for many years. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Staples in Canton for over 20 years, a member of the St. John’s choir for over 40 years, a member the Canton Choral Society, and the Neponset Valley Choral Society. Mrs. Duganiero also volunteered at Canton Library. Ursula loved music, playing the piano and spending time with her granddaughters. Beloved wife of 45 years of Dominic M. Duganiero. Loving mother of Maria Connors & her husband Joseph of Mansfield, & Joanne Duganiero of Uxbridge. Adored grandmother of Molly, Kathleen & Amy Connors of Mansfield. Sister of Blanche Nervi of Canton & the late Joseph P. Jr., Alan, and Paul A. Danahy. Also survived by many nieces,nephews and friends. Visiting hours in the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Funeral mass Friday morning at 10:30 at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
