Obituary

SALEM: Christopher D. Gray, 41, formerly of Gloucester, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the North Shore Medical Center, Salem. He was the husband of Starlet (Cummings) Gray.
Born in Gloucester on August 6, 1970, he was the son of Russell and Janet (Christo) Gray. He had attended Gloucester public schools and was a graduate of the North Shore Technical High School. He had been employed by Shaws Market, and the former Ames Department Store and LePages.
Chris enjoyed drawing, making models, music, movies and gaming on the computer. His passion was cooking and preparing his own recipes. He was a member of the North Shore Modelers Club and loved his animals.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter, Alivia Shehane Gray; sister, Jennifer Dahlmer; nephews, Andrew, Aaron and Justin Dahlmer and Kyle Collins; niece, Aimee Collins; maternal grandmother, Aimee Christo; aunt, Virginia, wife of Sammy Loiacano; uncles, Anthony R., husband of Cheryl Christo, and Frank, husband of Carol Gray; great-aunt and uncle, Michael and Barbara Nicolosi; his best friend, Michael Fish, as well as many cousins and good friends. He was also predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Eleanor Gray; maternal grandfather, Anthony R. Christo and his aunt, Valerie Collins.
