Mary E. Bosak, 91, a longtime resident of New York City and Scott Township died Wednesday November 2, 2011 at St. Mary’s Villa Nursing Home.
Born in Okruhle, Slovakia, she was the daughter of the late John & Anna Bosak. She was a graduate of Scott High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Holmes Security Company New York City as a switch board operator and manager.
Mary enjoyed working on her artwork, her many trips to Florida, and was known to be extremely proud of her family heritage. She will also be remembered for the many hats she wore.
Surviving are a niece; Patricia Dennis, Scott Twp., nephews; Thomas Bosak Jr. Archbald, Paul Bosak, Scott Twp., Stephen Bosak, State College, Brian Bosak, Jessup, and Mark Bosak, Scott Twp., A sister-in-law Genevieve Bosak, Scott Twp., and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Bosak.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 in the Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Olyphant.
