Albert O Martin, 85, of Methuen passed away peacefully on Sunday November 6, 2011 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill after a courageous two year battle with lung cancer.
Albert was born in Amesbury MA July 10, 1926 and was a lifelong resident in the Methuen Lawrence area.
Al was very devoted to his wife and family. He founded and operated Al’s Auto Sales in Methuen for 58 years. Owned and operated Mid City Rooming House in Lawrence and was the founder of Al Martin Antiques now located in Raymond NH.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years Alice Martin, and their sons Albert Jr. and Robert. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
