In Taunton, November 5, 2011 Elsie M. Simpson, age 84 passed away at Longmeadow Nursing Home with her family by her side, following a period of failing health. Elsie was born in Taunton to her late parents Louis & Susan (Kelly) Simpson. Elsie was a lifetime resident of Taunton. She was employed at the Augut Co. in Attleboro for 42 years. Elsie enjoyed traveling, going to fairs and above all enjoyed her time with family and her nieces and nephews. Elsie is survived by her sister Dorothy Rose of Taunton and her brother Curtis Simpson of Taunton. She leaves her caregiver and nephew Edward Simpson of Taunton and her many nieces and nephews and great and great great nieces and nephews. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma. 02780 on Weds., Nov. 9th at 7pm. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours prior to the service from 5-7pm. Burial will be private at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
