William S. Hughes, 40, of North Attleboro, formerly of Mansfield. Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 5, 2011 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Boston, MA on August 8, 1971, he was a dear son of Linnea (Fredriksen) Richardson and her husband Craig of Wrentham and William L. Hughes of North Attleboro.
Bill grew up in Mansfield, was educated in Mansfield public schools and was a 1990 graduate of Mansfield High School.
A former fork lift driver at the Coca-Cola Co. in Needham, he had also worked as a tile installer and for his cousin Kurt, building homes.
Bill enjoyed working with his hands, especially engaging in woodworking projects. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan and had a lifelong passion for music.
Billy loved his family and especially spending time with his mother and daughter was important to him. A loveable man, he will always be remembered for his “teddy bear hugs” and his sincerity when telling others “I love you”.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his devoted daughter Kailey N. Parker of North Attleboro. The loving brother of Denise L. Burbank and her husband Chris of South Berwick, Maine, Jo-Anne Chapman of Mansfield, Teresa Campbell of Lakeville and Denise Barb of Wrentham, he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday November 19th at 11:00 A.M. in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 24 Berwick St., Norwood. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours have been omitted and those wishing may remember Bill with a donation made in his memory to the charity of ones choice.
