East Bridgewater - Patricia A. (McCavitt) (Connors) Silva, 72, of East Bridgewater died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Thomas P. Silva Sr.
Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Levigne) McCavitt.
She was a graduate of Brockton High School and attended business school in Boston.
For many years, she was employed with The Enterprise in Brockton as a payroll clerk.
Mrs. Silva enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Linda Joy Connors of Boston, Robert T. Silva of Pennsylvania, Steven C. Silva of Bourne, Jill Marie Connors of Pembroke and Thomas P. Silva Jr. of East Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Thomas P. Silva III, Emmaley Silva, Daniel Connors, Julie Connors, Kelsea Silva and Hunter Silva; her great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kody Connors; and many nieces and nephews. She was mother of and the late Kevin Connors.
Her funeral service will be from the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10 in St. John Church, East Bridgewater. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8p.m. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
