METHUEN – Daniel A. Donahue of Methuen, MA died Sunday October 30, 2011 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Born in Lawrence, MA he was the son of the late Cornelius L. Donahue and Louise (Campagnone) Donahue of Methuen, MA. He was a graduate of Tenney High School with the Class of 1965. He worked for 31 years with Verizon and later as a security officer at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA. He belonged to the Arnold Greenwood Post # 8349 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Methuen and the French Social Club also in Methuen.
He loved to travel, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Judith Fay-Donahue of Methuen, MA. His mother Louise (Campagnone) Donahue also of Methuen, MA.
Sons, Patrick Donahue and his wife Jennie of Newburyport, MA and John Bellemore and his wife Cecilia of Somerville, SC.
Grandchildren Olyver Donahue, Joshua and Shannon Bellemore.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Lahey Clinic c/o Dr. Keith Stuart 41 Mall Road Burlington, MA 01803. Family and friends may call on Friday from 3:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. A wake service will take place at 6:30p.m. at the funeral home.
