Jennie (Hamman) McNamee, 87, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Mary Immaculate Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family.
Jennie was a member of St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church in Lawrence. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the D.A.V. Prior to her retirement she had been employed at the former Tyer Rubber Company in Andover for many years. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to Rockingham Park and her frequent trips to the casinos.
Jennie was the widow of the late Lawrence McNamee.
She leaves 1 brother Alfred Hamman of Methuen, 1 sister Margie Poirier of Georgia, a sister-in-law Haseeba Hamman of Methuen, nephews: George Hamman and his wife Janice, Robert Hamman and his wife Doreen all of Methuen, Armand Hamman and his wife Louise of New Hampshire, nieces: Sharon Pilz and her husband Richard of Methuen, and Loretta Fowler and her husband Mark of Georgia, as well as several great nieces and great nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. in St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 145 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA, 01841. A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated in the Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery in Methuen, MA.
