Patricia A. (Glennon) Southwick, 82 of Mattapoisett died October 31, 2011 at Tobey Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of Raymond C. Southwick.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Ellen (Saunders) Glennon, she lived in South Dartmouth for many years before moving to Mattapoisett in 2001.
Mrs. Southwick, a realtor, was active for many years in the Republican Club of Massachusetts.
Survivors include her husband; her sister, Mary Jane Baylies of Weston; her step-children, Kenneth Southwick and his wife Eleanor of Marshfield and Mary Pomeroy and her husband Jack of Plymouth; 6 step-grandchidren; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Richard Glennon, Winifred Burke, Joseph Glennon, Jr. and Rita Barry.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd. Mattapoisett. Burial in Quincy will be private. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of one's choice.
