Obituary

FRAMINGHAM: Kevin James Main, 51, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26, 2011.
He was born in Framingham on May 9, 1960 the son of the late William J. Main and Elizabeth M. (Flynn) Main.
Kevin is survived by his sister, Marilyn J. Main of Framingham and two brothers, Stephen J. Main of Lewiston, ME and Willard J. Main.
He was the nephew of Herbert L. Hilton of Framingham and Robert B. Main of Waltham. Also survived by many cousins. He was pre-deceased by his long time companion and friend Shelley Teed of Manchester, CT.
Kevin has been a longtime resident of Framingham and for several years resided in Manchester, CT. He graduated from Framingham North High School and for many years was a Community Organizer for the Connecticut Union of Disability Action Groups. He served as a caregiver and volunteered to assist those with disabilities and special needs.
He enjoyed being in the outdoors fishing and camping and loved sports especially the Patriots. He was close to his family and loved spending time with them on the lake and at their home in Litchfield, Maine. He will be missed by all of the lives that he touched during his lifetime.
At the request of his family there will no funeral home visitations and private family graveside services at the Main family lot in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Framingham will be held at their convenience.
In lieu of flowers his family suggests that memorial gifts in Kevin’s memory may be sent to the Epilepsy Therapy Project, PO BOX 742, Middleburg, VA 20118.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the John C. Bryant Funeral Home of Wayland.
