Obituary

Manchester-Angelo L. Garcia, 80, died October 30, 2011 at Villa Crest Nursing Facility following a brief illness.
He was born in Mayagues, PR on July 19, 1931 the son of Alphonse and Agripina (Ramos) Garcia and had been a resident of this city for many years.
Prior to his retirement he had been truck driver, warehouse worker for Pacific Papers for 36 years.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and held membership in the American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post 2.
He was predeceased by his wife Violette (Bernier) Garcia who died June 30, 2011 and two sisters, Petra and Genara Garcia.
Members of his family include four sons, Fred Garcia of Lawrence, MA., Ben Garcia of Manchester, Ephraim Garcia of Milford and David Garcia of Manchester; two daughters Elizabeth Escobar of Derry and Cindy Garcia of Lawrence, MA.; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A calling hour will be Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Veterans Administration Medical Center, 718 Smyth Rd., Manchester, NH 03104.
