Obituary


Helen V. (Scott) Bousquet entered into eternal rest on Thursday October 27, 2011 after a period of failing health. She died unexpectedly on the return voyage of the Norwegian Dawn from Bermuda. She was born in Cambridge and raised in Holbrook a daughter of the late Vernon and Helen (Shattuck) Scott and was a 1963 graduate of Holbrook High School.
Helen was a retired nanny and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. . She loved music, reading, travel and using the computer and gadgets. She was passionate about singing and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church choir in Brockton for many years. She was also a member of Sacred Heart School Guild and enjoyed life.
Helen leaves her lifetime partner of 22 years Dianne Reardon. She is survived by her daughters Suzanne Emerson and Barbara Doherty and three grandchildren James Doherty, Megan Doherty and Heidi Emerson. She leaves a niece and nephew and was the sister of the late John Page, Herbert Scott, Gerard Scott, Richard Scott and Barbara Scott Vaughn.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 4-8 pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 9 am. Cremation will follow.
