In Fall River, of Dighton, October 30, 2011 David G. loving husband of Rosemary F. (Clifford) Borden died at Charlton Memorial Hospital at the age of 58. Born in Fall River, David is the son of Malcolm Borden and the late Geraldine (Martin) Borden, and his step mother Margaret Borden. David was a graduate of Dighton Rehoboth High School class of 1971 and SMU Dartmouth in 1975 with his bachelors degree in Accounting and his master’s degree in Business Administration in 1985. David was the Co Owner of his family Business Bristol Tape Corporation in Fall River. He was a member of the Dighton Lyons Club, Dighton Youth Soccer, Basketball and Baseball. David enjoyed camping in Cape Cod and especially Myrtle Beach. David was the father of Christopher J. Borden and his wife Kay Bassen of Bellingham, Twin daughters Caryn Borden of Fall River and Cheryl Borden of Burlington, NC. Papa of Malcolm and Matilda Borden both of Bellingham. Brother of Beverly Borden of MA, Bruce Borden and his wife Lynne of Warren, RI, a step brother James Borden of Fall River. A service will be held at West Congregational Church on No. Walker Street in Taunton on Wednesday, November 2nd at 11 AM. Calling hours will be at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
