Decker, Chester, 79, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away Saturday October 29, 2011 at his home.
Chester was a native of Leitchfield, KY, U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Valley Station Church of God. He had retired from American Synthetic Rubber.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Aline (Geary) Decker; Carolyn Whitworth (Truett), Sherry Lynn Reese (Greg) and Charl A. Dunnavan (Rick); nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; his brothers, Nathan and Carl Decker; and sisters, Sylvia Decker and Norma Jean Bates.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Ky. Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Monday, and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
