Obituary

FRANKLIN—Joseph N. DeBaggis 88, a lifelong Franklin resident, died Wednesday October 26, 2011 at the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, following an illness.
Born in Franklin, December 24, 1922 one of eight children born to Diego and Josephine (Colobuono) DeBaggis, he was raised and educated in Franklin.
Joseph was a special man with special talents. He loved animals especially horses, and enjoyed gardening and yard work. He was very proud of his Italian heritage, and all its culinary delights. He will be greatly missed by all of his family.
He is survived by 3 sisters; Sylvia Stein of Margate, NJ, Lucy A. Sheehan and Mary A. DeBaggis of Franklin, a niece and nephew Carol and Bill Sheehan.
He is the brother of the late Christine Hume, Elmiro, Anthony, and Ernest DeBaggis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Monday Oct. 31st, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10AM. Interment will follow in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30AM.
