Lillian M. (Campbell) Schulz, 85, formerly of Medway, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation - Newton and Wellesley Alzheimer's in Wellesley. She was the wife of Edward D. Schulz who died in 2000.
Born in Boston on August 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James B. and May A. (Tapper) Campbell.
Lil, a former resident of Medway since 1960, had been employed as a secretary at the former Zayre Corp. in Framingham for 23 years until her retirement in 1987. She had previously worked at the Sportswear Store in Framingham for many years.
Mrs. Schulz, who was a loving mother, loved bingo, going to casinos and was an outstanding seamstress.
She is survived by four children, Edward J. Schulz of Nashua, NH, Evelyn M. Hatcher of West Roxbury, Kenneth F. Schulz of Raymond, NH and Lori A. Capone of Foxboro.
She is also survived by her brother James J. Campbell and his wife Kathy of West Roxbury, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Lil was predeceased by seven beloved brothers, Warren, Walter, Herbert, Robert, Francis, Donald and Raymond Campbell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday, November 2 from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m.
