Joan (Cunningham) Harvey of Medfield, formerly of Needham died on Saturday March 6 at the Thomas Upham House in Medfield. She was 76 years old. Born in Boston , Mrs. Harvey grew up in Brighton and was a graduate of Regis College Class of 1949. Mrs. Harvey taught first grade at the Chickering School in Dover for many years, retiring in 1983. She had lived in Needham for 44 years and was a member of Saint Joseph Parish. The beloved wife of John James Harvey Jr., she was the dear mother of Ann Stadolnick of Medfield, John J. Harvey III of Medfield, Julie E. Cass of Sparta NJ and Neal E. Harvey of Haverhill. She was the sister of Ann C. Flaherty of Brighton and the late Owen Cunningham, Gertrude Healey, Edward M. Cunningham and Joseph E. Cunningham. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Tuesday March 9 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Joseph Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:00 PM.
