Anthony M. “Tony” Cobuccio, 84 of Medford, died Tuesday after a long illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Somerville, he lived in Medford for the 55 years and formerly of Somerville. He was the son of the Raffaela (Vecchia) and Luigi. Mr. Cobuccio was a Store Manager with Star Market at various locations for 23 years and retired in 1979. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war 1953 to 1954.
Beloved husband of Virginia (Bono) Cobuccio. Devoted father of Virginia “Ginger” Rotchford and her late husband Michael of Wareham, Anthony “Tony” Cobuccio and his wife Roberta, Louis Cobuccio and his wife Ellen all of Tewksbury. Loving grandfather of Joseph, Stephanie, Jonathan, Stephen, Matthew, Jennifer, Nicole and Eddie. Loving great-grandfather of Gianna. Brother of the late Susan Renzeti, Joseph and Michael Cobuccio.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10:30 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Anthony’s name to a Charity of One's Choice.
