Adelina J. (Perry) Baptista, 98, of Fairhaven died October 25, 2011 at Royal of Fairhaven.
She was the wife of Jose J. Baptista.
Born in West Wareham, the daughter of the late Joseph and Candida (Lopes) Perry, she lived in New Bedford and Fairhaven most of her life.
Mrs. Baptista was an active member of the International Church of the Nazarene where she served as a Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include her husband; three sisters, Ella Perry of Fairhaven, Anna Perry of New Bedford and Florence Brown of Maryland; a brother, Henry Perry of Fairhaven; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Regina Perry, Edwin Perry, Entenor Perry, Arthur Perry and Vasco Perry.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 31st at 11 AM in the International Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday, October 30th from 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
