Obituary


Manchester– Juliette M. Hinse, 88, died October 23, 2011 at Bedford Hills Care & Rehabilitation after a battle with cancer, with her daughter and son- in- law at her side.
She was born in Manchester on April 9, 1923 the daughter of Alyre and Amanda (Martineau) Hinse. She was raised in Manchester and attended St. Raphael School.
She was employed as a stitcher for J. F. McElwain, Myrna Shoe and part time ticket checker for Jordan Marsh over the years before retiring.
Prior to Juliette suffering a stroke in 1996 she was a member of St. Raphael Church in Manchester.
Juliette lived a full life, receiving much love and happiness from her family. She enjoyed shopping, singing, bingo and family gatherings.
She is survived by her daughter, Irene Nadeau and her husband Peter of Manchester; one granddaughter, Amanda Nadeau of Paris, France; one sister, Estelle Hinse of Manchester; two brothers, Rudolph Hinse of Brooksville, FL., and Victor Hinse and his wife Lorraine of Manchester; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Lucien, Robert, Eugene, and Marcel, and two sisters, Irene Hinse and Rita Nelson.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
