Fernandina (Cabral Rogue) DeRamos of Dartmouth and Westport died October 21, 2011. She was the wife of the late Jose Cordeiro DeRamos. Born in Capelas São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Maximino Roque and the late Isabel Roque.
She went to Bermuda in 1966, then to Fall River in 1968. She lived in Fall River for 13 years, then moved to Dartmouth, lived there for 19 years, then lived in Westport the rest of her life.
She’s survived by two sons, Laurenio “Larry” C. Ramos of Westport, Louis M. Ramos of Fall River, a daughter Maria Isabel Camara of Westport, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grand children, 2 great great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Jose M. Ramos and the grandmother of the late Lise E. Ramos. She leaves one brother Fernando Roque from Canada and one brother and five sisters all deceased.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, Sanford Rd., Westport TUESDAY at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
