Annette "Etta" (Leaver) Higgins, 87, of New Bedford died March 3, 2004 at Brandon Woods after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late William Higgins, Jr., and daughter of the late Albert and Susannah (Harrison) Leaver.
Mrs. Higgins was born in New Bedford and lived in Dartmouth and New Bedford most of her life.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Linda Lynn, and her husband Christopher, of Westport and Susan Fredette, and her husband Steven, of Dartmouth; 5 grandchildren, Garrett Norbut, Jenny Lynn, Justin Fredette, Daryl Fredette and Audra Fredette; and 2 great-grandchildren, Brandon Norbut and Allyson Norbut.
She was the sister of the late Thomas Leaver, Albert Leaver, Lewis Leaver and Mary Darwell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Saturday, March 6th at 9 AM.
Visiting hours Friday, March 5th from 3-7 PM.
Interment Acushnet Cemetery.
