Worcester- Beatrice M. (Mason) Banionis, 92, formerly of 5 Holbrook St., died Tuesday, March 2, in Millbury Healthcare Center.
She leaves her husband of 63 years, John L. Banionis; a son, John A. Banionis of Brunswick, Maine; two granddaughters, Jill Barrett of Brunswick, Maine, and Jamie Gibbons of Woolwich, Maine; two great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter, of Andrew and Beatrice (Agurkiute) Mason, and lived here all her life.
During the 1940's, Mrs. Banionis was a sales clerk at the former Barnard, Sumner & Putnam Department Store.
She was a member of St. Casimir Parish, and was a member of its choir many years ago.
The funeral will be held Saturday, March 6, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 5, in the funeral home.
