John T. Dello Russo Jr. of West Roxbury, passed away peacefully at his home on October 19, 2011. He was 87 years old.
Born in Boston, John was a graduate of Boston English High School and Boston University and a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He worked for many years as an auditor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
John was the dear and devoted husband of Lena (Comperchio). Loving father of John D. Dello Russo and his wife Gail of Springfield, Mark Dello Russo of Norwood, Maria Carpenter and her husband Bryan of Norton and Ann Prittie and her husband Ralph of FL. Cherished grandfather “Puppa” of Christa Gillis, David Dello Russo and Cara Dello Russo. Dear brother of Madeline Giaimo of Medford and the late Walter Dello Russo. Dear brother in law of Sara Dello Russo of Boston. John is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
John's Funeral Mass was celebrated October 24, 2011 at St. Theresa of Avila Church.
