New Bedford- Francisco A. Duarte Jr. died March 2, 2004. He was the brother of Rose Carlisle, and Christine Duarte both of New Bedford. He was the brother of the late Antonio F. Duarte and Mary Leighton. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces, especially Antoinette Garcia with whom he resided.
Mr. Duarte was born in New Bedford, he was son fof the late Francisco A. Sr. and Maria (Almeida) Duarte. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
The Funeral Mass will take place Saturday March 6, 2004 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 am. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours are Friday March 5, 2004 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the funeral home. For Condolence Book and Directions go to www.perryfuneral.com
