Mario J. Gada age 94 formerly of Canton & Stoughton a resident of Heights Crossing in Brockton passed away October 18th at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Warterford, CT he attended Chapman Tech in New London, CT and University of Connecticut in Storrs. He worked as an Insurance Executive for John Hancock for 37 years before retiring in 1975. He lived in Canton for 40 years before moving to Stoughton in 1999. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2095 in Canton, a former member of the Sons of Italy in Canton, a Crossing Guard at the Kennedy School in Canton and a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable Foundation and the Underwriters Life Insurance Association. Beloved husband of the late Margaret T. (Rufini). Father of Edward P. of CT, Dennis J. of Stoughton & Margaret A. Stewart of Lunenburg. Also survived by 8 grandchildren & 1 great granddaughter. He was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm.
