Richard S. “Rick” Moore, Jr., 58, of Londonderry, NH died on Sunday October 16, 2011 at his home. Rick was born in E. Derry, NH on June 14, 1953 the son of Richard S. Moore, Sr. and Marilyn (Ela) Moore. He was a lifelong resident of Londonderry and the owner and operator of R & R Competition Engines of Londonderry. Rick enjoyed racing, especially Super Modifieds, following teams which he had built engines for. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family and loved being at the lake with his wife and friends. Rick was also a member of the International Super Modified Association.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Janice (Manning) Moore of Londonderry, two daughters, Kim Bleyle and her husband Tim of Manchester, NH, Lori Grant and her husband Ryan of Litchfield, NH, five grandchildren, Devin Quinn, Maxwell Bleyle, Hunter Grant, Ava Grant and Madilyn Bleyle, his sister, Kathy Guinesso of Auburn, NH, also several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Thursday October 20, 2011 from 4 – 8 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Friday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the NHSPCA, P.O.
