Obituary

James M. Hanna, 55, of Hollywood, FL, died suddenly on October 3, 2011. He was the beloved son of James L. Hanna of Scituate and the late Joan R. Hanna.
Born in Quincy, Mr. Hanna was raised in Waltham and Scituate and was a graduate of Scituate High School. He worked for a number of years as a carpenter on Martha’s Vineyard and was a resident of Hollywood, FL for the past 15 years. Although moving south, Mr. Hanna was a dedicated Boston sports fan of the Patriots and Red Sox.
In addition to his father, he is survived by 3 brothers, William Hanna of Milton, Mark Hanna of Oak Bluffs, and John Hanna of FL; 1 sister, Barbara Hanna of MD; and his aunt Diane Hanna of Natick. He is also survived by his nephew, nieces, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central St. (Rt. 135) NATICK on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Saturday from 9:00-9:45 AM. Donations in Mr. Hanna’s memory may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1 Bulfinch Place #201, Boston, MA 02114-2931.
