In Taunton, October 16, 2011 Richard J. husband of Leona (Shirk) Bennett died at Morton Hospital in Taunton at the age of 48. Born in Ludlow, MA, Richard was the son of Deloris (Smith) Martin and the late Howard Bennett. Richard was active in his church (Fathers House in Raynham) and enjoyed wrestling, the Red Sox, Patriots, playing basketball and Marshal Arts. He was the brother of Connie Bennett of Agawam, Laurie Bennett of CT, Trisha Bennett of Dorchester, Nikolai Martin of Agawam and Christopher Martin of Kentucky. Uncle of three Nephews and four Nieces. A memorial service will be held at the Fathers House Church, 770 Broadway in Raynham, Thursday, October 20th at 11 AM.
