Dorothy Blaker Cook, age 86, died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Yalobusha Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, October 17, 2011
at the Jumper’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with Bro. Joel Jones officiating. Nathan Keel, Rick Neely and Bob Norwood will serve as pallbearers.
Dorothy was born August 25, 1925 in Water Valley, MS to the late Alton and Alma Bynum Blaker. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making ceramics.
She is survived by her niece, Jean (Ralph) Norwood and her great-niece, Linda (Rick) Neely all of Water Valley, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Cook; her son Troy Cook, Jr.; and two sisters, Hazel Greenlee and Midge McCullar.
