James Sarago 83, Clarksville died Saturday October 15, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
He was born August 28, 1928 in Republic, PA, the son of Frank Sarago and Catherine Grbavac Sarago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Esther Sarago, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from the US Army with over 30 years service. He served in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.
He is survived by 4 sons; Byron(Linda) Sarago, Dennis Sarago, Kirk(Patricia) Sarago, Derrick Sarago, 2 daughters; Kathy Sarago, Paula(Bill)Allen, one brother; Tom Sarago, 1 sister; Dorothy Kutlesa, thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Deacon Dominic Azzara officiating,. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery with full Military Honors.
Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
