MILLBURY-Patricia J. (Mealy) Powell, 70, of Millbury Healthcare Center, formerly of 30 Lakeside Avenue died Tuesday, March 2nd in St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness. She leaves 2 sons Kevin P. Powell of Dedham and Michael I. Powell of Worcester, 4 daughters Dawn E. Hoffman of Worcester, Linda L. Powell of Cherry Valley, Rhonda I. Powell of Worcester and Lisa M. McDermott of Virginia Beach, VA, 5 granddaughters and 2 great grandchildren. Her former husband Lyle I. Powell died in 2002.
She was born in Cowens, West Virginia the daughter of James and Lottie (Paugh) Mealy and attended Fairfield High School in Fairfield, CT. Mrs. Powell worked for the former T Bird Pizza for 27 years until her retirement in 1990 due to illness. She was an avid ten pin bowler.
