James Castleberry, 81, Clarksville, died Saturday October 15, 2011, at his daughter's residence.
He was born March 26, 1930, in Clarksville, the son of Frank Castleberry and Ida Pancher Castleberry.
He was the owner of CMD Masonary Contractors. He was a lifetime member of Locust Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder.
He was a Korean War Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 55 years; Adeline Castleberry, and his son in law; Michael J. McLendon, one brother and three sisters.
He is survived by 2 daughters; Bonnie McLendon of Clarksville, Sandra Warren of Lyles, TN, one sister; Mary Shepherd, 4 grandchildren; Chris(Jessica) Warren, Susan(Michael) Smalley, Stacy Warren, Kevin McLendon, 5 great grandchildren; Gaven, Jackson and Kylie Warren, Tayler and Hunter Heflin.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 1:00 PM, October 18, 2011, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, and 12:00 PM until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
