Samuel Pinto, Jr., 64 of Malden, MA, died Sunday, February 29, 2004 in the Veterans Hospital, West Roxbury, MA. Mr. Pinto was born in Malden, MA on October 27, 1939, a son of the late Samuel Pinto Sr. and Jessie (DelCanho-Pinto) Berthiaume. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was employed as a Construction Worker for Union Local 22. He was very talented and loved to sing and dance and play a lot of instruments, especially the guitar. He loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He loved being with his family and will always be in their hearts.
He is the loving brother of Barbara Doucette of Malden, uncle of Robert Wilson Jr. of Illinois, Cindy McSweeney of Florida, Kevin McSweeney, Dawn Child, Charles Child Jr., all of Malden, Debra Allen of Oregon, several grandnieces and grandnephews, step son of Joseph Berthiaume of Florida, step brother of Rene, Rose, Estelle and Denise.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, Memorial services will be held on Saturday March 6th at 11:00am at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. Burial will be in the spring in Great Hill Cemetery, Chester, NH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Edith Norse Rogers Memorial Veteran's Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730.
