Robert P. Gagne, 80, of Salem, NH died Sun., Oct. 9th at Methuen Health and Rehab., Methuen, MA.
Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Fogg) and Joseph Gagne. Bob valued education and learning. He graduated from Phillips Academy in Andover, he received his BA from Clark University, his BS from NH College and his MBA from Boston University. He served in the US Navy during WW II. Bob owned Allied Paint Stores in Lawrence and he was a registered financial consultant who owned his own tax service, APS Service in Salem. During tax season, he volunteered at the Salem Senior Center and at the IRS assisting seniors with their tax returns.
He was a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals, the Society of Senior Advisors and the Mystic Valley Railway Society. Bob was an avid Boston sports fan. He loved cooking, music and traveling. He especially loved his trips to Hawaii.
He was predeceased by his wife Bethlynn (Emmett) Gagne.

Visitation will be Sat., Oct. 15th from 9-10 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will follow at 10AM. Burial is in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover, MA.
