Paul A. Pickering, 62, of 8 Stephen Drive, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in U.Mass/Memorial Hospital, University Campus in Worcester.
He leaves behind his wife of 40 years; Sharon M. (Murphy) Pickering, one son; Marcus B. Pickering of North Conway, N.H., one daughter; Jessica L. wife of Brandon J. Westfield of Hopedale, MA., 3 grandchildren; Chloe, Noah and Ayden, his father; Norman Pickering, Sr., of Lock Haven, PA.,one brother;Norman Pickering, Jr. of KY., and one sister; Cathy Williams of Lock Haven.
Paul was born in Lock Haven, PA. the son of the late Betty (Kinley) Pickering and has lived in Webster for several years.
He worked at Atlas Metals in Hudson,MA. and at B.J.'s Wholesale Club in Auburn in the tire dept.
He was a graduate of Williamsport Area Community College, a member of Webster Lodge A.F. & A.M. He also enjoyed fishing and scratch tickets. Paul was also a member of Acts II Ministries in Thompson, Ct.
Paul's Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 10 AM in the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St., Webster.
Calling Hours will be Saturday from 4 to 6 PM in the Funeral Home.
A Masonic Service will be at 5 PM Saturday in the Funeral Home.
Burial will be next week in Jersey Shore Cemetery, Jersey Shore, PA.
