Obituary

Hanover – Kimberly Govoni 45, formerly of Whitman, died unexpectedly Monday October 10. She was the long time companion of the late Robert English.

Born in Brockton and raised in Whitman she was the loving daughter of Diana (McKinnon) Govoni of Brockton and the late Clyde Govoni.

For many years Kim had worked as a retail manager and sales representative for many local stores.

She enjoyed traveling, shopping, gardening and caring for her home. She was a fan of the local sports teams and loved taking care of her precious pets.

Kim doted upon her daughter Chelsey and grandchildren Christian and Alexander. She was a loving and caring woman, taken from her family much too soon.

In addition to her mother Diana she is survived by her daughter whom she adored Chelsey Croghan and Chelsey’s father Robert Croghan both of East Hampton, New York, and her beloved sisters Tamra Donahue and her husband Joseph of Carver and Leah Govoni of Brockton. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christian and Alexander Pinargote of New York, her loving nieces Jessica and Jordan Donahue as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She leaves behind her devoted Chihuahua dogs “Fawn” & “Bucky”

Her funeral service will be held Saturday October 15 at 12:30 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours will be held Friday October 14 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
