Haverhill, Ma. – Muriel V. (Arnold) Clark, 90 yrs. died Sunday, October 09, 2011 at Penacook Place with her loving family by her side.
Muriel was born in Danville, NH August 3, 1921 the daughter of Clifton and Stella (Feeney) Arnold.
Muriel moved to Haverhill in January of 2010 to be closer to her family. Prior to 2010 she lived in Hill Village, New Hampshire for over sixty five years.
Muriel was a member of the Hill Center Church in Hill, NH, and the Bristol Baptist Church in Bristol, NH, where she served on many committees. Muriel also was a member of the Hill Center Circle, the Hill Historical Society and the Fidelis Ladies of the Bristol Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Franklin Senior Center and the Bristol Senior Center.
The widow of James Clark whom she married in 1947 and the sister of the late Clistie (Arnold) Boles, she is survived by nieces Judith and husband John Stackelin of Haverhill, Ma., and Muriel Lee Boles of Methuen, Ma., nephew Kenneth Boles of Waterloo, South Carolina, great nieces: Jill Stackelin of Methuen, Joy and her husband Paul Karpowicz also of Methuen, great nephews, Jonathan Stackelin, Andrew, Nathan, and Matthew Karpowicz all of Methuen, as well as her special cousin Marjorie and her husband Edward Tilden of Haverhill, MA.
A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 10 am at Riverside Memorial Church in Haverhill, Ma., to follow with a graveside service and burial at 1:30 pm in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hill, NH.
Friends will be warmly received at 9:00 am Thursday, October 13, 2011 before the funeral service at the Riverside Memorial Church, 278 Groveland Street, Haverhill, MA.
